Jackie Smith

Owner and Lead Facilitator

Jackie is an organisational consultant and coach with over 20 years experience in management and leadership, organisational development, group dynamics, cultural change, facilitation and mindfulness. 

As a life-long learner she holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics, Masters in Leadership and Organisational Dynamics and is an ICF accredited Executive Coach.  Jackie has held senior leadership positions in the banking and retail sectors, including as joint General Manager of a national business with 60 retail franchised stores.  

A passionate believer in experiential learning she is an accredited Equine Assisted Learning practitioner (EPI Model) and established The Wisdom Of The Horse in 2015 to design and deliver experiential learning programs on a national and global scale for a diverse client list ranging from global multinationals, government, professional service firm, SME businesses and for purpose organisations. She has coached/trained CEOs, Executive Leaders, Partners, Emerging Leaders, Consultants and Graduates.

Judy Brightman

Senior Leadership Facilitator

Judy is a coach and consultant with extensive experience in senior leadership development & assessment, facilitation and change management with global consulting organisations. 

A mindfulness and qi-gong practitioner, certified Somatic Coach, Reiki Master and an internationally trained Eponaquest & Master Herder Instructor, Judy has worked in the field of equine experiential learning for over 20 years. 

A lifelong lover of horses she incorporates nature-based wisdom, somatic and energetic practices for personal and professional development.  In addition to her role as a leadership coach at The Wisdom of the Horse Judy offers 1:1 coaching and small group programs both at home near Tamworth and throughout NSW, Qld and Victoria.

Jessica Marshall

Senior Leadership Facilitator

Jessica is a qualified Equine Assisted Leadership practitioner with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and over 13 years of experience working inside and alongside organisations supporting change, innovation & strategic transformation.

Passionate about cultivating curiosity and a growth mindset, Jessica blends her expertise in personal development and organisational transformation into an approach that emphasises the intricate link between an organisation's success and the well-being of its people.

Jessica is a thoughtful and engaging facilitator who connects easily with people, helping teams and individuals grow and succeed together.

Ann Poulsen

EAP Facilitator

Ann is a registered counsellor (ACA) and Accredited Equine Supported Learning and Personal Development practitioner (cert Equine Psychotherapy Institute).

She is also a registered Teacher Grad Dip ed, Cert. Steiner Teacher with a Bachelor of Science (Zoology).

Ann is the owner of an Equine Supported Learning practice in Burringbar (Byron Bay area).  Ann has been collaborating with The Wisdom of The Horse for 10 years and has hosted and cofacilitated many team and leadership workshops at her stunning property, and also offers individual equine supported learning sessions for children and adults.

Alice Tait

EAP Facilitator

Alice is a registered counsellor with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and an Equine Assisted Psychotherapist (EAP), with the Equine Psychotherapy Institute.

In her past Alice accumulated significant experience in business ownership; leadership coaching and supporting and developing employees and managers. She is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and her coaching expertise lies in growing an individual's capacity to be a personal leader. 

Alice operates an equine therapy business near Boonah in the Scenic Rim and is a trusted partner and facilitator at The Wisdom of The Horse.

Tama Green

EAP Facilitator

Tama has been facilitating Equine Assisted Skills Building programs since 2012 from her property in East Gippsland Victoria and travels all around Victoria and interstate with her own horses to work with individuals and groups.

Tama is accredited both in the EAGALA Model framework, and is an accredited Advanced EPI Model Equine Assisted Learning Practitioner.  

With an Advanced Diploma of Horse Management, equine studies and years of dedication to respecting and building awareness of horses and horse behaviour she has been working with The Wisdom of The Horse as an equine specialist and a facilitator for many years.

Nadine Delany

EAP Facilitator

Nadine is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, experienced Equine-Assisted Psychotherapist (EAP), and Accredited EMDR Practitioner with over 25 years’ experience supporting children and young people.

She is the founder of Hunter Valley Children’s Therapies, where she integrates trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, and nature-based approaches into her work. Nadine is also a co-founder of Nature Based Therapies Australia, providing professional development for mental health practitioners through training, clinical supervision, and consultation in equine-assisted and nature-based practice.

Located in the beautiful Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, Nadine brings extensive expertise in equine-assisted therapy and is a valued venue partner and equine specialist within our team.
